School Premises
Ashirvad Boarding School has an adequate area which is located in a peaceful area with motorable access to Maharajgunj and Bishalnagar on either side. It has a spacious compound for further expansion of the school in the future.

Language
To develop language skill and to enable the students to acquire fluency in both written and spoken English, the school gives emphasis to English language. However, due consideration to Nepali Language during Nepali periods to help students enjoy the richness of Nepali language, culture and tradition.

Books and stationery
At the beginning of an academic session text books are provided by the school and can be bought from the accounts after relevant payments. The stationery items required by a student throughout the year are provided by the school during the time of admission at the begining of the session.

Examinations
The school conducts three terminal examinations and two monthly tests of 10 marks each are held for each term. The marks secured in monthly tests will be added in the term exams which will be of 80 marks. Report Cards are distributed on specific days to the parents which provide an opportunity for teachers and parents to interact.

Facilities
The school has a well stocked library which helps students inculcate good reading habits, facilitate reading skill and acquire a wealth of knowledge. The school boasts of a science laboratory having adequate facilities for practical works in Physics, Biology and Chemistry. Computer classes have been introduced as a regular part of the course from class IV. The school has a computer room with a good number of computers. The school infirmary is well stocked with all First Aid medicines. The school runs remedial classes, when required, which are free of cost for the upliftment of the academic standard of each and every student.

Extra Curricular Activities
Having clearly understood that limiting students to bookish knowledge only will render them uncompetitive in this competitive world, the school gives emphasis to all aspects of a rewarding experience of learning by giving special consideration to extra curricular activities. The school provides prepatory platforms, for students to refine and expose their talent, in the forms of various inter-house competitions and interschool competitions.

Games and Sports
The school believes in promoting the physical development of students by giving special emphasis to games and sports. The spacious compound, an experienced game and sports in charge and the easy availability of playing things encourage the students to develop a true sense of participation, teamwork, sportsmanship and physical fitness.
